Melanie suddenly blushed and looked down.
"Thanks. Now that means something to me. Well a lot of things that's been said has meant something to me. I've never been that complimented in a long time. I just hope I can do well for this fleet. And as your TFXO." she said to him and then looks down at Shadow. "oh yeah.. this is Shadow my dog. she goes with me wherever I go." she introduced them. Shadow barks at Malone and licks his hand in a friendly way to greet him and sits down by Melanie again. Melanie chuckles and looks at him. "she likes you. Well actually she knows you're alright as you're talking to me so. she gets Very protective but she knows the people around here aren't going to hurt me. She'll actually protect you and the brass, specially Malloway. She likes him, as do I." she added blushing a bit and looks at Malloway and then back at Malone. "I"m surprised he took my suggestion about the codes and put me in charge of it. "she added. Megan comes up and whispers in her ear. Melanie tilts it slightly to hear nodding every once in a while. She then looks at Megan. "Tell your men not to worry about that. There are still a few kinks that's being worked out. Also get with my Chief of Security and Tactical and let him know whats going on. Tell him to check the sensors and the weapons. Have my XO take a look as well." she informed Megan and Megan nods.
"yes ma'am. sorry for the interruption." she responded and Melanie smiles and pats her shoulder.
"you're just doing your job." she responded and Megan smiled nodding. she then headed off going over to Malcome.
"Excuse me Lieutenant but there's a problem with the ships systems and your CO has asked me to get you to check on it as well as your XO." she told her and then headed over to Falcon Wiseman and taps his shoulder.
"sir I've been asked to tell you to check your ships systems with your Chief of Security and Tactical. Seems there's been an alarm on the ship. We've found nothing but captain Woodcroft would like you to double check on it. she has informed me that there is some kinks being worked out." she said to him.
