Bridge
Jemma was on the bridge with many officers scuttling around mending any damage that had been sustained in the battle. Suddenly some sparks flew from a console to her left making her jump to her feet on full alert. A few of the bridge crew tried to hide their smiles, but Jemma knew they were there. âBetter safe than sorryâ she thought to herself. She could sense that many were feeling anxious from the battle and it was starting to make her jumpy. The crew were worried about what was going to happen next, and although Jemma wanted to re-assure them, she honestly didnât know what was going on any more than they did. They would all have to wait for further information or instructions. Jemma took a deep breath as she closed her eyes momentarily to strengthen her mental barriers, before opening them again to continue what she had been doing.
An ensign shuffled up to her and wanted her authorisation on a few things which she checked and signed off on. Before an Officer walked up to her fresh from the turbolifts, and addressed her. âLieutenant Marek Lovok Reporting in, we captured a Cardassian vessel maâamâ Said the officer. If memory served her from the personnel records, he was their Chief Intelligence Officer.
âThatâs good news Lieutenant.â Jemma responded to the news about capturing one of the Cardassian ships. âAny prisoners?â She asked, torn between hoping there was, and not wanting to have to deal with them. âGive me a full report.â She instructed clearing the PADD in her hands to take note of anything worthy.
