Gateway Control Room
0724 hours
Only two minutes ago Commander Locker had received orders from Admiral Malloway to report to the control room. Locker was the type of officer who always tried to impress with his punctuality. It only took him two minutes to run to the room. Fortunately... every other crew member he encounter along the way was of lower rank which means they had to stop and move out of the way.
Locker had been working on his health and fitness because he realized he would need to be in good shape for this mission. And he never missed an opportunity to do some running. Even if it wasn't necessary. The new uniforms were comfortable enough to run in.
As Locker entered the room he immediately slowed down to normal walking paste... not a sweat present. He was proud of that achievement.
"Reporting in Admiral." Locker announced with a smile and salute.
