RE: Fleet Mission: "To Boldly Go..." - Steve Malloway - 07-17-2015 GATEWAY CONTROL STATION Gateway Control Room 0722 hours The chaos had passed, finally. Up until this day the main station for Gateway Control had, admittedly, been a mess. Officers and Personnel had moved back and forth with this and that, and that and this, with a degree of speed and mindset that had made the Admiral proud to call himself a Fleet Commander. His counterpart, Admiral Morgan, had had his teams back and forth through the gateway with that same level of precision no doubt John had this feeling himself. At least, Steve hoped so. He allowed himself a small chuckle. "Admiral." Another PADD was handed to him to go alongside the previous 4 from 4 other officers. Steve glanced it over and nodded and thank you, dismissing the Lieutenant. It seemed all was set to go, and ahead of schedule. Time to allow a 2 minute breather, perhaps. Nah. =/\="Malloway to Locker. Report to the Control Room, stat."=/\= Steve called into his commbadge, opening and closing the link when and where necessary. Time to get everyone on their feet. TAG: Locker, All RE: Fleet Mission: "To Boldly Go..." - DJ Hurt - 07-20-2015 Occ I've been gone for a while. Please excuse my rusty post. USS Majesty Bridge 0730 Hrs As commander hurt stepped onto the bridge he finally felt at home. No longer did he get lost and need the computer. Well not all the time he reminded him self and tried to remember how he ended up at the battle bridge instead of the Normal bridge. Pushing that thought away he took a seat in the captions chair. Not seeing the caption around. "Update?" Be shot ed out to no one in particular. And as he waited for the answer he sat back and looked around the bridge tags any Occ I know this is to short. But my next post shall be longer. Trying to get back into the swing of things. RE: Fleet Mission: "To Boldly Go..." - Emma Wilkinson - 08-07-2015 GATEWAY CONTROL STATION Gateway Control Room 07.40 Emma had only gotten a few hours broken sleep before giving up, having a nice hot shower unsure when she would next get the chance, and grabbing her last few bits she would need. It was finally happening, all the testing, plotting planning and executing had come down to this. The fleets newest adventure yet. The unknown was what had kept her awake, and the excitment had kept her on edge unable to sleep. Would everything go smoothly? What would they find? She couldn't wait to find out, and the time was fast approching. She had finalised reports and handed out last minute instructions. Malloway had already arrived and many were still trickling in and their ranks were growing. With each person entering the room, Emmas excitment and tension increased. Putting the finishing touches to a few things she spotted Malloway looking in her direction and nodded to him with a smile. They only had a few more people to arrive before the show could get underway and everyone was making sure they had everything ready for when the time came to open up the gate and for them to make their way on through. Taking a deep breath and closing her eyes for a second, Emma went back over her mental check list for what must have been the hundreth time. Saftisfied that nothing had been missed she opened her eyes once more with a small unconcious nodd of her head to herself. Placing her PADD down she wondered to where the Admiral was standing and took up next to him. 'Well, i believe we are ready to rock and role.' She stated rising onto the balls of her feet and back down with her hands behind her back with a grin across her face like a happy school child. Tag Admiral, All (OOC sorry i havn't updated recently, work has been mental with 11hr shifts 7 days a week, but i believe i'm back ontop of things now so lets get this show on the road! Those of you not in the gateroom ready to leave, GET A MOVE ON) RE: Fleet Mission: "To Boldly Go..." - Callum Jackson - 08-08-2015 USS Majesty Main Bridge 07:40 After performing his final inspection of the ship, he was satisfied the Majesty was ready for anything. As the turbo lift made it's way to the bridge, stopping occasionally for other officers to get on/off, Callum read through the action plan for the day, once again. It was now only 20 or so minutes before the Majesty would enter the gate, for safety reasons, Callum had planned for the Majesty to enter the gateway after the last team member taking the personnel gate steps through, should anything go wrong he didn't want to risk someone getting lost on the way. The turbo lift made it's last stop before the 2 deck journey to the Bridge. Callum locked the PADD he was holding and straightened his uniform. The lift came to a stop and the doors opened with a slight hiss. As Callum's right foot made contact with the Bridge deck plates, an observant Ensign announced his arrival. "As you were" Callum called as he slowly walked down to the command well. "Lt. T'Sai, please ensure all Starbase personnel have disembarked, seal all airlocks, retract docking bridge. Bring the structural integrity fields up to standard settings, power the deflector, and stand by to clear moorings" Callum commanded as he took up position in front of the centre chair. "Commander" he said, turning to face his XO "please begin the pre-flight checklist, then when ready, please get our departure clearance." Callum asked before taking his seat. Callum watched as the crew prepared the Majesty for it's departure. TAG: DJ, All. RE: Fleet Mission: "To Boldly Go..." - Desmond Locker - 10-08-2015 GATEWAY CONTROL STATION Gateway Control Room 0724 hours Only two minutes ago Commander Locker had received orders from Admiral Malloway to report to the control room. Locker was the type of officer who always tried to impress with his punctuality. It only took him two minutes to run to the room. Fortunately... every other crew member he encounter along the way was of lower rank which means they had to stop and move out of the way. Locker had been working on his health and fitness because he realized he would need to be in good shape for this mission. And he never missed an opportunity to do some running. Even if it wasn't necessary. The new uniforms were comfortable enough to run in. As Locker entered the room he immediately slowed down to normal walking paste... not a sweat present. He was proud of that achievement. "Reporting in Admiral." Locker announced with a smile and salute. TAG: Malloway |
